Okuhida Onsen-go

The accommodation facilities we’re introducing this time are located in Gifu Prefecture’s representative hot spring town “Okuhida Onsen-go”.
Okuhida Onsen-go is a hot spring area in the mountainous region of northeastern Gifu Prefecture.

Kachoan

A ryokan “Kachoan” that blends into the old streets of Hida Takayama, where you can taste seasonal delicacies

Located in Okuhida Onsen-go, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, Kachoan is renowned for its warm hospitality. With 70 staff members serving 28 guest rooms, they provide the most attentive service to visiting guests.

Here they offer “100 thoughtful services” to give you special travel memories.

The ryokan has 4 hot springs. There are separate men’s outdoor baths and women’s large baths where you can relax from within and rest comfortably. From the outdoor bath, you can see different scenery each season - cherry blossom tree-lined paths in spring and snow-covered Hida mountain ranges in winter.

Kachoan’s meals use precious ingredients from the Hida region such as Hida beef, radish, Japanese yam, and winter yellowtail. Breakfast also features famous Hida regional dishes, with options for Japanese or Western style.

Women’s Exclusive -RIRAKKUSU Kura-

A space specially prepared for female guests, which also includes a skincare center, bathing area, rest area, and yukata rental space.

Semi Open-Air Bath Guest Room -Kaze no Ma-

The guest room “Kaze no Ma” is popular because you can enjoy an indoor bath while overlooking the garden. Enjoying the breeze coming through the window is truly comfortable and healing.
After bathing, you can relax in the spacious Japanese-style room (about 6.6 tsubo). Especially recommended for couples, families, friends, and lovers.

VIP Room -Hana no Ma-

“Hana no Ma” on the top floor is a luxurious guest room with elegant interior decoration, spacious area, and beautiful views from the window.

It has a cypress wood bath that can be used 24 hours a day and special sofas made from Hida Takayama products. You can relax and rest at ease.

HOTEL Hodaka

“HOTEL Hodaka” surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Japan Northern Alps

HOTEL Hodaka in Okuhida Onsen, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, is a hot spring ryokan adjacent to the Shin-Hodaka Ropeway.

From the garden-style outdoor bath, you can overlook the Northern Alps mountain range, in one of Japan’s most spectacular natural environments where you can receive nature’s blessing.

For dinner, in addition to the “Hodaka-style kaiseki meal” made with local ingredients for each season, different types of kaiseki cuisine are provided for spring, summer, autumn, and winter. You can also taste the tender, fresh, and juicy Hida beef in the “Hida Beef Three-Flavor Kaiseki”.

The hot springs have both outdoor baths and indoor baths in 2 locations, where you can view the magnificent and majestic mountains from the outdoor bath. The hot springs use sulfur springs that can heal tired bodies.

Western-style Room with Outdoor Bath

HOTEL Hodaka’s guest rooms include both Japanese and Western styles, with 6 types of rooms in total.

The Western-style room with outdoor bath has beds and sofas, and you can overlook the magnificent mountain ranges from the outdoor bath.

Japanese-style Room with Outdoor Bath

The Japanese-style room with outdoor bath spanning two rooms is very spacious and is the hotel’s pride. You can overlook the Hida mountains from this room full of Japanese atmosphere.

DX Twin Room

Yukimurasaki

Yukimurasaki in Okuhida Onsen-go, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, is a Japanese-style ryokan full of ingenuity, with tatami mats used in guest rooms, lobby, elevators, and even the changing areas of the private outdoor baths.

Dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed in private rooms. The kaiseki cuisine uses carefully selected highest-grade Hida beef, so the meat color and tenderness are beyond question. The A5-grade Hida beef personally sourced by the ryokan owner allows you to feel the meat juices filling your mouth with just one bite.

The baths in guest rooms provide 24-hour natural hot springs. Of the 14 rooms, 8 have outdoor baths outside the rooms. You can leisurely spend time in your room while enjoying the pleasure of getting close to the nature of the Hida region.

On the top floor, there are 2 “Panoramic Private Outdoor Baths with Indoor Baths (reservation required)” that can be used for free. You can bathe while watching the Northern Alps mountain range and the sunset behind the mountains. On clear days, you can also see the beautiful starry sky.

The floors throughout the building are covered with tatami mats, and there’s a Japanese-style hearth in the lobby. You can experience traditional Japanese life and relax comfortably in a quality space. The heated tatami mats are very warm, so you can walk barefoot on them even in winter.

Gero Onsen

The accommodation facilities we’re introducing this time are located in Gifu Prefecture’s representative hot spring town “Gero Onsen”.
Gero Onsen is near Nagano Prefecture and is called one of “Japan’s Three Famous Hot Springs”.

MIYAKO

Ryokan “MIYAKO” enveloped by nature and tranquility

Ryokan MIYAKO located in Gero City, Gifu Prefecture, is a facility near the hot spring town of “Gero Onsen”, a famous hot spring tourist destination in Gifu Prefecture.

Apartment Suite -Yume Kadan-

Guest rooms come in 3 types: detached, apartment suites, and regular rooms. “Yume Kadan” is characterized as an apartment suite with furniture and decor that has both Japanese and stylish modern atmosphere.
